Organectomy - "Existential Disconnect"
Organectomy “Existential Disconnect”
Slamming brutal death metal band named Organectomy from Christchurch city new Zealand set out to release their sophomore album entitled Existential Disconnect June 21, 2019. Now coming back after only a year since their last album, Domain of the wretched, in 2018 Alex, Tyler, Sam, Ashton, and newest member Levi bring yet again the devastation. The 11 song album instantly starts with one of the loudest and heaviest intros, and it doesn't slow down from there. The grotesque vocals immediately hit your face and blow your hair back followed by the deep sounding guitars/bass and the extreme slamming drums. This is by far one of the most refreshing and most substantial records I have heard in 2019 and cannot wait for it to be officially released this summer. The heaviness continues throughout the album and then comes up to my personal favorite track four titled No Solace in Ascendance. The eerie sounds from the twisting guitar and fast hitting dark sounds from the new drummer make you yell “EWWWW” when the breakdown hits at 4:50 seconds because I did that. Then the high shifting guitar pitch rises up from the back and all of a sudden your ears are bleeding but in a very good way. These men have put their hard work into every second, and I can hear it especially when it seems like they raised a demon from the depths of hell and brought us to the two songs, Where Pantheons Lie part 1 and 2. It has a slow but yet so refreshing part 1, and then it immediately punches you in the face part 2 with its devastating display of gnarly brutality. I seriously cannot wait to see this band live; I give this heavy as hell album my highest yet ranking of 8/10, I very much enjoyed it!
Check the album out on all streaming platforms June 21, 2019, and buy their shit, I know I definitely will.
